As Senior Director, Marketing and Communications, Ed works closely with Tuck’s leadership to develop strategies that integrate and expand Tuck’s editorial, marketing and communications, and media relations efforts through measurable activities that bring to life the mission of the Tuck School of Business. Prior to his current role, Ed served as Director of Communications, Content Strategy at Tuck.
Ed’s previous roles at Dartmouth include Co-Director of Tuck Creative Services, and communications strategist for the Office of the President and Provost, where he helped lead communications for the college’s first-ever campus-wide strategic planning process. Ed is the former editor and publisher of AMC Outdoors, the magazine of the Appalachian Mountain Club, and executive editor of Rowing News magazine.
A graduate of Carleton University and Ryerson University, Ed was a five-time member of Canada’s national rowing team and a member of the Canadian Olympic team for the Sydney Games. In 2000, he won a world title in the lightweight men’s pair in Zagreb, Croatia. Ed lives in Hanover with his wife Allison, a neonatal nurse practitioner at Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and three children.
