I spent most of the last 12 years (except for a 2 ½ year stint in Beijing) working in product development for a CPG Company. Since my graduation from engineering school in 1995, I have traveled to 38 countries. I have been active in developing future leaders, both in the workplace and within my community, by developing and leading training and mentoring programs. Recently I spent the summer in Qingdao, China, brushing up on my Mandarin language skills. Most importantly for the past 13 years, I have been a mother. As I was looking for an MBA program, in addition to wanting an experience that would expand my general management, quantitative business, and global perspectives, I was searching for a place where I could continue to raise my daughter as a single parent. This all led me to Tuck.

Hi all, I am from Madrid, main city of the old and fascinating Castilla, Spain. I have a Master in Civil Engineering and before coming to Tuck I lived in Miami and Dublin, Ireland, working in construction and Project Finance. I like travelling and a bunch of sports, golf, soccer, tennis, ski.

I am originally from Southern California. I went to school in Florida, then joined a leadership development program with a government contractor. I did that for three years and decided to be a consultant. So I began the process of applying to business school. My experience with a Tuck alum sealed my decision to go to Tuck. Before I even got to Tuck, I was fortunate enough to have experienced the power of the alumni network. I am now in my first year and have spread myself thin with the Consulting Club, (trying to play) Hockey, Tuck Ambassadors, TAABA, and everything else you can think of to get involved in. I am absolutely loving it. This year should be a great one!

Hi, thanks for reading my blog. A little bit about me: I'm originally from Connecticut, and have an undergraduate degree in Management and Engineering for Manufacturing from the UConn. Prior to coming to Tuck I worked in Supply Chain Strategy for Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, a helicopter manufacturer best known for making the Blackhawk helicopter. Once again, thanks for reading, I look forward to your questions and comments.

I was born in China and spent part of my childhood in the western province of Xinjiang. It is there in the foothills of the Himalayas where I last experienced a true winter. I moved to Texas at the age of 11 with my family and promptly forgot about snow and ice. I graduated from The University of Texas at Austin in 2000 with a BBA in Management Information Systems. During my senior year, I accepted an offer with Ernst & Young in the consulting services group. I was one of those people who were only going to stay in consulting for a couple of years before moving to a "career" job, but I never left. Subsequently, I spent about eight years working at Capgemini prior coming to Tuck. I had put off business school for various reasons but finally came to my senses and applied. I started at Tuck in August and it has been an incredibly interesting experience since.

My husband—a first-year student at Tuck—and I came to Hanover via Minneapolis, Portland (Oregon), Boston, Philly, and West Michigan. I graduated from Boston College, spent several years in marketing, and now work full-time at Tuck. One of the many reasons we chose Tuck is that there's a great community of partners and families up here—I felt it right away when we visited and I can attest to it now that we're here. Some of the things I'm involved in are planning the partners' side of Admitted Students Weekend, cooking with the gourmet club, volunteering with Helping Hands, and trying to stay in shape by going to an all-Tuck spinning class (no, not all of us play hockey!). I'm excited about blogging for Tuck and would love to answer any questions you have about life as a Tuck partner!

I'm originally from Miami, FL. I got a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Columbia University. Prior to Tuck, I was a mechanical engineer at a medical device company in Ft. Lauderdale. I enjoy cycling, racquetball, and mma (mostly as a spectator) ((actually, exclusively as a spectator)).

Matt has to be one of the most charming and debonair students in the class; but then again, he’s both a Leo and a Canadian, so it all makes sense. Prior to Tuck, he has worked across many industries and functions, from selling group contracts for a boutique hotel chain to managing a small restaurant to analyzing business processes for a large insurance company. Outside the classroom, Matt spends his days enjoying Ski Club events, planning the Diversity Conference, and participating in the Gay-Straight Alliance; at night, he can usually be found freaking out over accounting homework, bruising his knees on the hockey rink, and actively participating in the Glen Tuck Society (Tuck’s own “Single-Malt Scotch Appreciation Club”).  But above all else, Matt is famous for his wicked awesome butternut squash soup.

Originally from India, I completed my masters in engineering management from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology. Prior to Tuck, I worked in a VC / incubator where my responsibilities ranged from sourcing deals to helping portfolio firms grow by providing business assistance. At Tuck, I am a member of various clubs: Private Equity, Dartmouth Energy Collaborative, Tuckmasters, International, Outdoor, and Squash. I live in Sachem Village along with my wife Geeta and two-year old son Nahush. I love to explore the outdoors with my family. My other interests include creative writing, snooker, bowling, and more recently, poker. I am excited to be sharing my experiences with you..

I am currently an Associate Director of Admissions at Tuck. Prior to Admissions, I worked for several years in student services at Tuck; a collection of experiences that have been invaluable to my Admissions work. In that office I learned more about students, faculty, and life at Tuck than I can possibly repeat. I was also inspired by faculty and students to pursue an MBA and completed my coursework at Franklin Pierce University. I am still debating with students over which is more challenging: a full time MBA vs. part-time MBA while working! I never imagined I would be in NH for 9 years, but this has been a wonderful environment for me personally and professionally. In addition to my work at Tuck, I teach spinning at the Dartmouth Gym, volunteer as an official for the Dartmouth track team, and I have learned to mountain bike, rock climb, and row.

I am the Admissions Coordinator here at Tuck—scheduling all on-campus interviews and class visits. I have been at Tuck for two years and started working here immediately after I graduated from Mount Holyoke College. I also have a cat named Poe who is featured in my blog photo (yes I was an English Lit major :)). I can answer any and all questions you have about visiting campus and am fairly well versed in student life here at Tuck. Nice to virtually meet you!

I have been working in MBA admissions since 1996 (!) when I moved back to the United States from Europe. I was formerly Director of International Relations at another business school. I also worked in career services and was on the Board of Directors of the MBA Career Services Council. I've been at Tuck for 5 years and focus on international recruiting in Europe, Middle East and Africa, plus I do a lot of work with Native American Students. I love living in the Upper Valley and yes, I LOVE the snow. Having lived in the South for so long, I don't mind missing the hot, humid weather. And there is so much to do up here that I am never bored. I like constantly learning things, and my job allows me to do that by meeting prospective students and listening to their stories, and by traveling around the world. I've currently been to 70 countries.

I'm going into my 5th year as Director of Admissions at Tuck and I love Hanover, Dartmouth, Tuck and New England. I have 21 years of admissions experience and had great experiences at Darden for 15 years, UNC-Chapel Hill and undergrad admissions. Interestingly, I'm going through the college search process with my 18 year old son and it's fascinating to be on "the other side" of the admissions process. I think the experience will make me better admissions professional to experience the process from a different perspective. Looking forward to meeting you here in Hanover.

I am an associate director of admissions at Tuck, where I lead diversity recruiting. In addition, I have been a member of the admissions committee at Tuck and at Dartmouth for several years. Before joining the admissions staff I practiced civil rights law, litigating race and gender discrimination cases for the American Civil Liberties Union.
