Maynard Entrepreneurial Internship Program

Since 2000, the Maynard Program supports entrepreneurial internship opportunities for Tuck students to get exposure to early stage management challenges.

The Maynard Program combines the first year summer internship with the opportunity to understand first-hand the challenges and rewards of entrepreneurial ventures. The program provides partial funding for students to work with dynamic growth companies that are prepared to offer great hands-on learning opportunities.

To be considered for the program, a company must have less than $25 million in annual revenue and fewer than 150 employees.  The Maynard Program is an outreach program is offered only once to any specific company. The company provides a stipend to the student intern and the Maynard Program supplements those funds. While Tuck routinely sources suitable internship opportunities, students are encouraged to identify firms that would be eligible and of interest to them.

The Maynard Entrepreneurial Internship Program is funded by Tuck alumnus and Private Equity Center Advisory Board member Fred Maynard T'85.  Students interested in applying for Maynard Program opportunities should contact Elizabeth Napier in the Career Development Office for information and guidelines.
