John Pepper is the co-founder and longtime CEO (1997-2013) of Boloco, and a founding investor and board member of B.Good (Boston), as well as Southeast Asian Noodle-focused Kigo Kitchen (Seattle). He was the 2012 Regional Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year. He also frequently speaks at industry conferences and universities, on topics ranging from entrepreneurship to integration of cutting edge technology in restaurants. The first Boloco business plan was written (and first restaurant opened) as part of an Entrepreneurship class during his second year at Tuck.
Tuck’s Entrepreneur In Residence (EIR) program brings entrepreneurs to campus to provide students with direct feedback on entrepreneurial matters. The Entrepreneurship Initiative believes this practitioner advice to be of great value to orient students in all stages of their entrepreneurship education.
