Professor Assmus holds a diplomkaufmann's degree from the University of the Saar and a PhD from the University of California at Berkeley.
Background
At Tuck, Professor Assmus taught courses in marketing, international marketing strategy and organization, managerial economics, and decision analysis. His research interests are in the area of international marketing, especially the organization of advertising and pricing in a multinational company. His papers have been published in numerous journals, including Journal of Marketing, Journal of Marketing Research, Management Science, and Journal of Forecasting.
