Current Research Topics

The role of syndication in industries like investment banking and construction; efficiency of auctions in an uncertain world.

Publications

Dean Hansen has published articles in The American Economic Review, The RAND Journal of Economics, The Journal of Business, Northwestern University Law Review, International Review of Law and Economics, The Journal of Industrial Economics, and Economic Inquiry, among others.

Background

From 1995 to 1998, Dean Hansen served as associate dean at Tuck, with primary responsibility for the MBA program. From 1998 to 2000, he was associate dean of faculty. He has been Tuck's senior associate dean since 2000.

In addition to his work at Tuck, Dean Hansen has worked as a management consultant with LEK Consulting, a London-based firm specializing in strategy and acquisition. He currently serves as a member of the board for Fannie Clac.
