Clark Callahan: Executive Director

As executive director, Clark Callahan has management responsibility for all Tuck Executive Education activity. In addition, he works closely with corporate clients on custom engagements and consortium programs. Prior to joining Tuck in 2003, he was the vice president and managing director of Strategic Management Group (SMG) UK-Europe, a provider of simulation-based executive education. There he worked with teams to design and deliver learning solutions for a variety of Global 1000 firms. Prior to his work with SMG, Clark spent eight years at the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School of Business, where he held a number of posts, including director of the Wharton Small Business Development Center and lecturer in entrepreneurial management. He was also responsible for administering Wharton's curriculum in entrepreneurship. Prior to his assignments at Wharton, Clark was a project manager in the Corporate Strategy Group at CIGNA Corporation. He holds an MA in government administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a BA from Franklin and Marshall College.

Philip Barta: Associate Director of Executive Education and Director, Custom Programs

As Associate Director, Phil Barta is responsible for Tuck’s custom practice. Before joining Tuck in 2006, Phil spent five years working closely with Babson Executive Education’s corporate partners to develop custom programs. Prior to joining Babson, he was managing director of The International Forum, which developed and managed Wharton's Global Leadership Series, a unique learning experience focused on the challenges of globalization for senior executives from global corporations. Phil's involvement with The International Forum began in the 1990's as a speaker and faculty member at Wharton's European, East Asian, and North American Forums as well as programs in the Czech Republic, Poland, and China. From 1996 until 2001, Phil served as director for executive education with the William Davidson Institute at the University of Michigan Business School. While at the Davidson Institute, Phil also managed the summer-period Michigan MBA team projects in emerging markets. In addition to his executive education background, Phil has extensive experience working in emerging markets, especially Central and Eastern Europe. He holds an MA in Russian and East European Studies from the University of Michigan and a BA in government from Beloit College.

TOM ABBATIELLO: CLIENT EXECUTIVE, CUSTOM PROGRAMS

As Client Executive, Tom is responsible for managing client relationships for Tuck's custom executive education practice. Prior to his assignment at Tuck, Tom spent four years managing strategic accounts for Dun & Bradstreet's education division, where he successfully partnered with clients to provide integrated services to enhance their sales and marketing initiatives. Tom has also held senior sales and account management positions at Oracle and at Gartner, where he assisted senior executives of large and mid-cap companies to more efficiently use technology to achieve business results. Earlier in his career, Tom held sales and sales management positions with the U.S. division of Tokyo-based Fujikura Ltd. Tom holds a BA in East Asian Studies and Government from Colby College.

Laura Chesnut: Bridge Program Coordinator

Laura Chesnut joined Tuck Executive Education in May of 2008. She provides general administrative and program delivery support, and also assists with recruiting and admissions.  Pursuing her interest in sustainable business development, she is also working to incorporate more socially and environmentally responsible materials and practices into all Executive Education programs and activities. Laura received her B.A. in Economics and Global Development Studies from Grinnell College in 2006. Upon graduating, she received a Grinnellcorps Namibia fellowship, which enabled her to spend one year managing the environmental education program at the Gobabeb training and research station in the Namib Desert, and one year developing a framework for energy efficiency in urban Namibian High Schools.

Carolyn Clinton: Program Design and Development Manager

Carolyn Clinton started working with Tuck Executive Education in 2003. She works closely with faculty and clients to design customized executive education programs that address an organization's specific needs. She also has overall management responsibility for a multi-year partnership with the Minority Business Development Agency of the U.S. Department of Commerce. Carolyn brings with her 30 years' experience in business, government, and nonprofit organizations, including work as a management consultant, a senior executive with a federal agency, and a senior associate in executive education with a major oil company. She has also served on the boards of nonprofit organizations and a publicly elected school board. Carolyn holds a BA from Tufts University and has done graduate studies at the University of Vermont.

Paul Doscher: Business Development Manager, Tuck Business Bridge Program

Paul Doscher first joined the Tuck School in 1974 and held successive positions as director of development, director of external affairs, and director of executive education and corporate relations through 1991. He then served as a marketing consultant for executive education at Yale School of Management, Harvard Business School, and Smith College for five years. Paul returned to Tuck in 1996 to work in marketing for the executive education and the Tuck Business Bridge Program. He received an AB from Dartmouth College, an MBA from New York University, and a MS in design management from Pratt Institute.

Christine Dowman: Program Coordinator

Christine Dowman joined the Tuck Executive Education team in June, 2008. She provides program delivery support for both custom and open enrollment programs. She holds an M.S. in Human Genetics from the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center and a B.S. in Biology from the College of William and Mary. Christine brings to TEE years of experience in academic program administration, project coordination and high-level customer service.

JANET ELRO: PROGRAM AND MARKETING COORDINATOR

Janet Elro joined the Tuck Executive Education, Minority Business Executive Program team in October 2008.  She assists the Director in the coordination and implementation of custom programs for minorities, Native Americans, women, and veterans, and also publishes the MBE newsletter.  Prior to joining Tuck, Janet worked at Dartmouth Medical School in the offices of the dean and student affairs.  Before Dartmouth, Janet worked at Johnson & Johnson for eleven years in the areas of communications, marketing, human resources, finance, research & development, safety & environmental affairs, and package development. She is currently working on a Master of Arts degree at Dartmouth, and holds a B.A. in English/Writing and an A.A.S. in Advertising and Graphic Design.

Nicole faherty: Bridge program manager

Nicole Faherty joined Tuck Executive Education as the Bridge Program Manager in September 2006, after five years of working in higher education administration.  Prior to coming to Tuck, Nicole worked at the University of California, San Diego in the Graduate School of International Relations and Pacific Studies, where she managed a program for international executives studying international economics and public policy.  Nicole holds a BA in political science from the University of California, San Diego and an MA in intercultural relations from Lesley University.

Nancy Garrett: senior Program Coordinator

Nancy Garrett joined the Tuck Executive Education team in 2003. She manages delivery of Tuck Executive Education's Minority Business Executive Program (MBEP) and Advanced Minority Business Executive Program (AMBEP) and a range of programs for the Tuck-Minority Business Development Agency partnership. She also manages delivery of selected custom programs for corporate clients. Nancy has experience in conference and event management and marketing, having managed those departments at Sugarbush Resort in Vermont.

Paula Graves: Senior Program Manager

Paula Graves has been working with Tuck Executive Education since 1979, and is the program development manager for the Tuck Minority Business Executive Program (MBEP) family of programs. She builds and maintains relationships with corporate sponsors, resource organizations, government agencies, and minority business entrepreneurs, and facilitates the development of new programs. Paula studied history and political science at the University of New Hampshire, and has completed graduate work at Dartmouth College on issues of race, class, and gender.

Jennifer johnson: Marketing Communications Manager

Jennifer Johnson spent several summers working for Tuck Executive Education while attending Babson College. After graduating with a BS in business administration in 2001, she worked as a travel consultant for a large travel corporation. She rejoined the Tuck Executive Education team in February 2004 and is responsible for the development and execution of electronic and print marketing strategy for open enrollment programs.

Donna Lawless: Business and Office Manager

Donna Lawless joined Tuck Executive Education in 2003, having worked in the accounting field for nearly 20 years. She is responsible for the fiscal management of Tuck Executive Education's financial and budgetary needs and also manages staffing for office administration and program delivery. Donna holds a degree in business management from Plymouth State University. She has served in leadership positions on the board of directors of several nonprofit organizations.

KATe LEBRUN: Assistant Program Coordinator

Kate Le Brun joined Tuck Executive Education in 2007 as the administrative assistant to the executive director, client executive, business manager, and program coordinators. Among other duties, she managed travel arrangements and assisted with accounts receivables/payables. In 2008, Kate was brought on to the coordination team providing administrative and logistical support to faculty and participants before, during, and after programs. She received her BA in business and an associate's degree in sport management from Champlain College.

Cecile Menard: Senior Program Coordinator

Cecile Menard has been working with Tuck's executive education programs since 1978. Her major responsibility is to plan and manage logistics for Tuck Executive Education's Global Leadership 2020—a program consisting of three one-week modules delivered in three different global venues to participant teams from a consortium of corporations. Cecile spent 18 years coordinating the Tuck Executive Program, and she still manages several open and custom programs for corporate clients. She graduated from Granite State College with an associate of science in business studies.

Jessica osgood: Program coordinator

Jessica Osgood joined Tuck Executive Education in 2004 as summer support staff and stayed on part-time during the school year while working as a special education teacher. She started full-time in September 2006 and now is responsible for the planning and delivery of several Executive Education programs. She provides administrative and logistical support to meet the needs of both faculty and participants before, during, and after each program. She holds a BA in Elementary Education and Early Childhood Education from Champlain College.
