Consulting/ Executive Education

Professor Trimble has taught in Executive Education programs at Tuck and for clients such as PitneyBowes and The New York Times Company. As a senior fellow with Katzenbach Partners LLC, Professor Trimble advises leaders of breakthrough new businesses within established organizations

Awards

Professor Trimble was named an Edward Tuck Scholar and graduated with distinction in 1996. He earned his BS in mechanical engineering from the University of Virginia with highest distinction

Publications

Professor Trimble is co-author with V. Govindarajan of Ten Rules for Strategic Innovation - from Idea to Execution (Harvard Business School Press, 2005). His work has been published in such periodicals as Harvard Business Review, California Management Review, MIT Sloan Management Review, and in the book The Many Facets of Leadership (Financial Times Prentice Hall, 2002).

Background

Prior to joining Tuck, Professor Trimble worked as a management consultant, developing clients' capacity to use modeling and simulation during strategic planning and process re-engineering efforts. He also served as a nuclear submarine officer in the United States Navy.
