I attended Tuck as a two-year sabbatical and it changed my path and my life profoundly. As graduation approached, like a good MBA, I made a 16x10 matrix of my options with all the different factors involved. I admit that when it didn't give me the answer I wanted, I had to trust my instincts and adjust the matrix accordingly! Tuck gave me the confidence to make a bold choice.

I came to Tuck for the pure pleasure of learning. I also wanted to be in a beautiful location—I brought my husband and two young children with me and we wanted to enjoy the time. In fact, our time in Hanover was some of the happiest times we have ever spent.

And this is my advice to you, two words, as you consider earning your MBA: enjoy it! And then I must say, if you are going to be at Tuck: I am terribly envious.

Of course, different schools suit different people. Don't be fooled into thinking that they are all the same, that it makes no difference where you go. It makes an enormous difference. Tuck is special because of its supportive, yet challenging community combined with its high-quality learning environment. This combination is unique.

I have been working in London for the last 10 years. I participate in every single possible Tuck European event. And I know, with complete security, that if I need anything, I can call on the Tuck network. These are people who will do all they can.
