6 Ways to Connect with Tuck before January 6

In honor of the approaching January 6, 2015 application deadline, we thought we'd share six opportunities to get to know Tuck over the next 41 days. Even if you've done your due diligence and are certain you would be a great fit, there's always something new to learn. Try one or try all, we look forward to getting to know you!

  1. December 2, 2014 - Join Associate Director of Admissions, Kristin Roth at 12pm ET on Beat the GMAT for a live Q&A. She'll also offer tips on what you should you keep in mind as you plan to hit submit.

  2. December 3, 2014 - Director of Admissions, Dawna Clarke will take over Tuck's Facebook page for an Ask Me Anything (AMA) event. As soon as we post a welcome to the Facebook wall, you can comment below with questions about Tuck's application process, MBA program, and community. Dawna will be live from 12-1pm ET, but will respond to questions posted at other times of the day as well.

  3. December 4, 2014 - Tuck's Women in Business Club and Senior Associate Director for Women's Recruiting Initiatives Pat Harrison, will host an online chat for women interested in Tuck. If you haven't already, check out this webinar from WIB President Lindsey Windham who shares her experience as an MBA applicant and a student at Tuck.  Her non-traditional path highlights the myriad ways students arrive at Tuck, and the takeaways she offers provide an insider view on overcoming obstacles, the importance of a supportive community, and the vast opportunities a Tuck MBA can provide.

  4. December 2014 - Register to have a cup of coffee with a current Tuck student, right in your hometown. As the Tuckies disperse for winter break, they look forward to relaxing, travelling, and sharing their first-hand experience as a Tuck student. We continuously add events, so return to the Attend an Event page often.

  5. Ongoing - We're all about access here at Tuck, from the time you're a prospective student, throughout your two years in Hanover, and into your career as a Tuck alum. Tuck Connections allows you to make a personal, one-on-one connection. After filling out a brief form, the program pairs prospective students with a Tuck student or an alum who has a similar background. This gives you the chance to ask questions about the Tuck experience from the people who know it best.

  6. Now - January 30, 2015 - Initiate a visit and interview! Ok, so this one is for you to get to know Tuck and for us to get to know you. Not only is scheduling an interview in Hanover the only way you can guarantee yourself the chance to share your story with an admissions associate, but while you're here you can attend an actual first-year class, have lunch with students, tour the campus, and participate in Q&A with an admissions officer. Visiting a school is one of the best ways to know whether an MBA program is the right fit for you.  For those applying on January 6, the deadline to complete an applicant initiated interview is January 30. Make sure you register soon...spots fill quickly!

Finally, keep reading this blog.  Technically this makes seven opportunities to get to know Tuck, but since you're already here, we're counting it as a reminder! As the name implies, the Tuck 360: MBA Blog brings you a 360 degree view of Tuck. From Admissions to the Career Development Office and students to alumni, it offers an insider view into all aspects of life as a Tuckie.

We hope you take advantage of these opportunities to get to know us, and we look forward to getting to know you on January 6!
