The Center for Business & Society - Impactful Interning

By Stephanie B. - Admissions

The T’14s have spanned the globe this summer, interning at more than 150 companies in more than 20 countries, and their functions are just as diverse; consulting, finance, technology, CPG, entrepreneurial pursuits...and the list goes on!  As for the Fellowsat The Center for Business & Society, they continue to follow their passions by applying business knowledge to community needs and world issues.

Prior to Tuck, one such Fellow, Rashmi Khare, was a fixed income trader and end-user developer at Fidelity Management and Research.  She is now interested in impact investing and is spending the summer on the beautiful islands of Hawai’i at the Ulupono Initiative.  Ulupono uses for-profit and non-profit investments to improve the quality of life for island residents in three areas: locally produced food, clean, renewable energy and waste reduction.  Read her blog post to discover the difference she’s making!

Too beautiful of a place not to do some exploring as well!

Continue to follow The Center for Business & Society blog for more updates from other interning Fellows.
