  • Greener Pastures: Photos Neil "Dutch" Kuyper T'92 has a new role as president and CEO of Parker Ranch, a 130,000-acre cattle operation and piece of Hawaiian history. Kuyper’s experience, connection to the islands, and passion for sustainability made him an obvious choice for the community-focused business. The ranch is located on the Big Island of Hawaii.
  • School of Rock: Photos Aaron Delfausse T’06 is helping spread the School of Rock’s “perform to teach” method of music instruction across the globe. By teaching kids to “rock on stage and in life” through music lessons that emphasize live performance of the classic rock, reggae, funk, and heavy-metal music, it keeps the fundamentals but adds a heavy dose of fun.

  • CarniVAIL 2011 Tuck alums indulged their love of skiing and their alma mater at the seventh-annual CarniVAIL alumni event in Vail, Colo., in February. The three-day weekend—a grown-up version of Dartmouth Winter Carnival—also featured a memorable series of speakers, including a slopeside chat with Dean Paul Danos and Albert G. Mulley D’70, director of the new Dartmouth Center for Health Care Delivery Science.
  • Tuck GIVES 2011 Students raised more than $65,000 for nonprofit and public-sector internships at this year's “prom-night”-themed Tuck GIVES auction. The student-run event has raised over $590,000 in support of 118 internships since 2002. Photography by Laura DeCapua.
