HANOVER, N.H.—Despite difficult economic times, alumni at the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth show their loyalty to their alma mater with the highest participation rate in annual giving of any business school. The percentage of alumni making a gift each year speaks volumes about the quality of the Tuck education and the network of alumni willing to help each other and their school in good times and bad.

Tuck tops the charts with a 65 percent alumni participation rate in its recently ended Tuck Annual Giving campaign. During the eight-month campaign, more than 500 alumni volunteers reached out to classmates, corporate colleagues, and alumni around the world to generate the needed support to fund Tuck's world-class program of business leadership education. At Tuck, scale is what counts, and alumni feel like part of the Tuck community wherever they may be. Phone calls and emails get answered immediately whenever Tuck is mentioned. It’s an amazing network of goodwill that drives business education forward, regardless of market conditions. The lifelong relationships developed over the years also help when Tuck alumni are looking for jobs and business partners.

For those in the know, 65 percent is an impressive giving rate for any school at any level. Tuck's annual giving rate tops that of other business schools by more than 30 percentage points, on average. The Tuck alumni participation rate has remained above 60 percent since 1985, no small feat for any MBA program or graduate school. Even more remarkable is the Tuck Annual Giving lifetime participation rate—with more than 90 percent of alumni giving back to Tuck Annual Giving over their lives.

Tuck Annual Giving is widely regarded as the #1 annual giving program among business schools worldwide based on the number of living alumni who contribute annually.

Founded in 1900, Tuck is the first graduate school of management in the country and consistently ranks among the top business schools worldwide. Tuck remains distinctive among the world's great business schools by combining human scale with global reach, rigorous coursework with experiences requiring teamwork, and valued traditions with innovation.
