Global Business Perspectives: Risana… Risana Zitha, Morgan Stanley's managing director for investment banking, visited the Tuck School of Business to participate in Africa Highlight Week in February 2012. Co-coordinated by students from the Tuck Africa Club and Tuck's Center for International Business, the event highlighted some of the risks, myths, and realities of doing business in Africa. In this video, Mr. Zitha shares his insights into the African landscape for investment banking, the role of foreign direct investment in Africa, some of the challenges of doing business in Africa, and Morgan Stanley's plan for growth in Africa.

Global Business Perspectives: Steve… Steve Dolman is vice president and fund manager at Hines, an international real estate investment, management, and development corporation. During a recent visit to Tuck, he talked about his experiences establishing his business in Brazil and offered his thoughts on weathering the current global economic crisis. He also commented on the importance of adapting corporate practices to fit the country you're doing business in, and why it's critical for MBA students to gain international experience and expertise.

Global Business Perspectives: Russell… Russell Wolff, a member of the Dartmouth Class of 1989 and the Tuck Class of 1994, is the Executive Vice President & Managing Director of ESPN International. During a recent visit to Tuck, he shared his thoughts on the globalization of careers, international assignments, lessons he's learned by working in different cultures, and some key considerations for Tuck students as they plan their own global journeys.

Global Business Perspectives: Dr.… During a visit to Tuck to participate in the Tuck India Business Conference, Dr. S. Aravind offered his views about affordable health care for large populations, especially as it relates to eye care in India. He explained that the leaders at the successful Aravind Eye Hospital have capitalized on two kinds of innovation: game-changing and incremental. The game-changing innovation only comes along once or twice a decade, while the incremental innovation happens every day while constantly learning and improving patient care and ensuring that the staff is also taken care of. Dr. Aravind is the director of projects at Aravind Eye Hospital.

The $300 House First-Year… Tuck MBA students reflect on their journey to India to do research for their First-Year Project (FYP) on the $300 House concept first described in a Harvard Business Review blog post by Tuck professor Vijay Govindarajan and Christian Sarkar. The student trip was supported by the Allwin Initiative's 10 for 10 program.
