Tuck Professor Matthew Slaughter was a guest on CNN's "Lou Dobbs Tonight" on June 8, 2004. Slaughter and Dobbs discussed global outsourcing and American workers.
Professor Slaughter, author of Globalization and the Perceptions of American Workers, has done extensive research on how the U.S. economy has been affected by the outsourcing of American jobs. He says multinational companies have actually created two jobs in the U.S. for every one that they've sent overseas to a cheap labor market.
