Today the Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth placed #9 in the annual U.S. News & World Report ranking of top graduate business programs. This ranking is based on a combination of surveys of deans and recruiters along with statistical indicators that measure placement success of graduates and student selectivity.
In the specialty rankings, Tuck was highlighted as a top school in the management category. This portion of the ranking is based on ratings by educators at peer schools. Business school deans and program heads were asked to nominate programs for excellence in each of the specialty categories.
Tuck’s performance in the qualities being measured by this ranking is indicative of the strength of its program. Also noteworthy is that Tuck had the 3rd highest average combination of starting salary and signing bonus among the business schools ranked.
