“I'm learning to understand why something works, not just how.”
My career experience before Tuck—in both health care consulting and finance—was siloed, so I was really drawn to Tuck's curriculum," says Kevin Bielke T’12. “The core provides a cross-functional exposure to management and a foundation of critical analysis and thinking skills, preparing you for the specific knowledge and deeper investigations in your second year--and for the rest of your career. I'm learning to understand why something works, not just how. I may never have to create balance sheets myself or design supply chains, but I will be able to collaborate with people who do and understand the implications of decisions across an entire organization. That's the beauty of Tuck's approach.
