Office Hours and Coffee Chats

One of the easiest ways to meet with students is to hold office hours or coffee chats either before or after your event. Office Hours are 20-30 minute time slots where recruiters can meet with students either one-on-one or in small groups. Signups are managed by the CDO and are typically taken on a first-come first-served basis for a pre-determined schedule.

Coffee chats are similar to office hours, but with a more casual feel and a drop-in format; coffee optional.

Mock Interviews and Workshops

Some companies run workshops or mock interview sessions throughout the year to give students valuable insights into their interview process.  It is a way of priming students for success in the interview, and giving them a chance to practice with recruiters in preparation and receive valuable feedback.

Fireside Chats

If a member of your organization has a theme or topic of interest they would like to discuss with students, consider hosting a Fireside Chat. Held in one of Tuck's "living-room" spaces, they are an informal, interactive way of leading that discussion. Chats may be moderated by one of the CDO directors.
