Tuck Gives 2006

The sixth annual Tuck GIVES auction raised more than $100,000 on April 10-13 through silent and live auctions. Tuck GIVES (Grants to Interns and Volunteers for the Environment and Society), a student-run event, raises funds to support students who take summer internships with nonprofit and public-sector organizations. Items on the auction block included a vacation house in Costa Rica, tickets for a Giants/Buccaneers football game, and a bass-fishing trip with Senior Associate Dean Bob Hansen. "Tuck GIVES represents the best in Tuck spirit as the community comes together to show support for a great cause," said Sherry Kim T'07, co-chair of the event. The event is supported by Tuck's Allwin Initiative for Corporate Citizenship, Career Development Office, MBA Program Office, and Dean's Office.
