This is a great time for Tuck.
The newly enrolled class of 2009 broke a number of records, including highest average GMAT score and percentages of women and international students, and the classes of 2007 and 2008 have career and internship positions at top companies in many fields. Tuck faculty continue to excel at both research and teaching, publishing in key journals and leading their professional associations. And the support we receive from our alumni in service to the school and in financial contributions is astounding—your generosity continues to fund more than 50 percent of a Tuck education, a model that sets Tuck apart.
But we must build on our traditional and current strengths to maintain our excellence. To ensure our future success, Tuck is undertaking a major strategic review that we call Tuck 2012. The results of this review will set the course for our school for many years to come. As part of the review, four task forces will look at how to
• improve our core curriculum;
• enhance the global perspective and expertise of our students;
• strengthen our leadership and professional development programs; and
• intensify student access to faculty and their expertise—a core distinction
of a Tuck education.
This process will ensure our place among the world’s truly excellent business schools.
For your support and involvement during this exciting time for Tuck, we are most appreciative.
