We are in the midst of a strategic review designed to ensure that Tuck's MBA program continues to be the best in the world. After consulting with our alumni advisory boards, thoroughly surveying peer schools, and studying our competitive environment, we have determined that we should focus on four areas of innovation:
- Leadership Development. Tuck's fundamental mission is to prepare students for leadership roles in business and in life. We have a broad array of leadership-related programs and activities—ethics and societal leadership courses, teamwork training, the Allwin Initiative for Corporate Citizenship, and the Cohen Leadership Development Program. We will integrate these efforts and enhance their impact.
- Globalization. Our graduates must have global mindsets and knowledge of global business trends and practices. We will build a richer array of opportunities—inside and outside the classroom—for our students to learn about and experience the global business environment.
- Core Courses. Everything we do at Tuck is greatly influenced by the content, structure, and sequence of the core curriculum. We are carefully reviewing our core and will propose changes that will give students an even more powerful learning experience.
- Access to Faculty Expertise. Tuck gives students exceptional exposure and access to our faculty of thought leaders. We will increase the size of our excellent faculty; improve faculty-student ratios; increase the number of small, personal-scale classes; and develop innovative ways for our professors to share their expertise with students.
Soon, when the review is complete, we will present concrete proposals to the faculty for consideration, and the initiatives that flow from this review will lay the foundation for the Tuck MBA program for years to come. Thanks to the generous support and wise counsel of our alumni, Tuck will continue to provide the very best MBA education.
