Visit and Interview at Tuck

We encourage all applicants to visit campus and interview.

Schedule an On-Campus Visit & Interview

Admissions interviews are a key way for you to demonstrate that you are smart, accomplished, aware, and nice. An interview allows you to provide a more complete picture of who you are, how you’ll enrich our community, and how Tuck will help you thrive. We want to give the opportunity to interview to as many applicants as possible, so you can interview without waiting to be invited.

HOW ARE INTERVIEWS SCHEDULED?

There are two paths to an interview:

We understand that not everyone can schedule a visit and interview in Hanover. Don’t worry if this is true for you. We value all interviews equally in our evaluation process, whether applicant-initiated, invitational on-campus, or invitational virtual.

You can schedule an on-campus applicant-initiated interview on a first-come, first-served basis. Spots fill up quickly, particularly near each deadline, so schedule your interview as early as possible. If you cannot find an open date, keep checking. We may add additional slots due to cancelations or changes in interviewer availability. If you still can’t find an opening, remember that we also invite selected candidates to interview.

We release invitations to interview on a rolling basis. While we send most invitations at least 1-2 weeks before releasing admissions decisions, it is possible to receive an invitation in the days prior to the decision notification date. The timing of your interview invitation does not reflect the committee’s level of interest in your application.

CAMPUS VISITS

Visiting the Tuck campus is a great way to get a feel for the culture. Most Tuck visits include the opportunity to sit in on a class, have lunch with current students, tour our campus and participate in a group Q&A session with an admissions officer. From September through February, we give priority for campus visits to those of you who are interviewing, and we can accommodate only a limited number of visitors who are not interviewing. If you wish to visit the campus but do not plan to interview, please contact our Admissions Office directly.
