Course Description

Business leaders can be more effective if they have a powerful collaboration strategy. Brazil is the seventh largest economy in the world and the largest in Latin America. Given its size and dominance, the opportunity to study collaborative relationships between a business and its various stakeholders including governments, nonprofits, and even other businesses, is vast. Through a series of case studies and business visits we will explore characteristics of good collaborative relationships and the pitfalls associated with these relationships. On this GIX students will learn how collaborative relationships are identified and built, what the cost and benefits are of collaborate relationships, and how collaborative relationships are both maintained and concluded.
