Fun for all seasons!

As Fall B wraps up at Tuck, I am amazed by how much Tuck Partners (TPs), and their students and families, have experienced during our first months in Hanover and the surrounding Upper Valley area. Below is just a sampling of some of the fun activities that have been planned and hosted by the Tuck Partners this fall alone:

International cuisine potluck and gingerbread-making events sponsored by the Gourmet club

Pumpkin-carving, lantern-making, button art, tote-bag-making, and wreath-making sponsored by the Craft club

Delivering meals and visiting with Tuck moms and new Tiny Tuckies sponsored by the Helping Hands club

Making warm blankets and other items for local goodwill organizations sponsored by the Knitting club

Group visit to Huntley Meadows in Norwich, VT sponsored by the Tuck Dogs club

Book club meeting on "The Power of One" by Bryce Courtenay

Halloween costume party, group play-dates, and a visit to see "The Polar Express" in White River Junction, VT sponsored by the Tiny Tuckies club

Group outing to see Dartmouth's Hopkins Center for the Arts performance of "Big Love" (student production) sponsored by TP Social events

...and so much more!

We are excited to start off the New Year with great ideas for even more fun events, for example, group cross-country skiing trips, family ice skating on Occom Pond, and Tuck Partner small group dinners. I've found that as the weather gets colder, we partners become more and more creative with winter-activities, both indoors and outdoors. I am excited by how much there is to still see and do, and more importantly, knowing that there is such a wonderful group of partners, students, and families with whom to share these memorable experiences.
