Student Founded, Tuck Food Society

Grow. Make. Sell. Eat.

The Tuck Food Society is perhaps the newest club on campus. Founders, Erica Johnston, Divya Belavadi, and Isabella Liu are all first-year Tuck students with a passion for both business and food.  The club’s mission aims to help students explore careers along the food value chain.

In one of their first initiatives, they explored decisions businesses face at the beginning of the chain (harvest) all the way to the end (retail) by partnering with the Dartmouth Organic Farm.  Together, they offered fresh produce in Byrne Hall.

Check out all of the student run clubs at Tuck, centered on career interest, cultural affinity, and sports, as well as others that are social, service and special interest based.  Clubs offer an opportunity to cultivate leadership skills as well as strengthen the inclusiveness, camaraderie and level of participation that help make Tuck the special place it is.  Like Erica, Divya, and Isabella, if you don’t see a club that fits your interests at Tuck, we highly encourage you to start one!
