Dear Admitted Students,

My colleagues and I have greatly enjoyed getting to know you better. We appreciate both your enthusiasm for Tuck, as well as your questions about how your Tuck MBA experience will begin. Specifically, many admitted students have asked what to expect for the upcoming fall term. You and your fellow admits have been sharing good input with us, and in turn we recognize the importance of communicating with you about the path forward.

Given the continued public health uncertainty, Tuck senior officials are exploring all options as to how we can best achieve our mission in the upcoming academic year. The Deans’ Office at the Tuck School, along with an advisory committee comprised of members of the Tuck faculty, is actively considering possible scenarios and contingencies.

While the situation remains dynamic, it is our intention to resume in-person learning at Tuck when it is safe for our community to do so, consistent with public health guidelines. We will continue to update you on this work as it progresses, and to inform you of our plans as decisions are made.

If, for whatever reason, you are unable to join us in person this August, you should know that we will have a plan in place to allow you to begin your Tuck education remotely. This plan will cover all curricular, co-curricular, and career-related aspects of your MBA experience. As the success of our virtual learning environment this spring is showing, we have the capabilities, resources, and—importantly—the community to achieve this.

As we look to the fall term and to welcoming you to Tuck, please know we are committed to building on this success and, in whatever form it takes, to creating with you the personal, connected, and transformative experience that is distinctly Tuck.

These are indeed unprecedented times. But they are also the times when the world needs wise, decisive leaders most. We look forward to your MBA journey at Tuck. If you have additional questions, please reach out directly to Amy, Felicia, Lesley, Megan, Pat, Valeria, or me. We are delighted to speak with you and support you as you prepare to join us.

Best regards,

Luke
