To the Tuck Community:
As a follow-up to our message yesterday, we want to let you know that the guidance we shared from the New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services remains unchanged: the Tuck students who attended the social event on Friday are considered to be at low risk and are being asked only to follow DHHS guidelines for self-observation out of an abundance of caution.
We also want you to know that Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center officials have confirmed that the individual announced yesterday as the second presumptive positive COVID-19 case is a close contact of the original patient and did not attend the social event on Friday.
Academic and campus operations at Tuck will continue as normal.
