Jonathan Masland, Director
Industries: Energy, Real Estate

Jonathan received his BA from Harvard and MBA and MA from the Wharton/Lauder Institute dual-degree program. His professional career includes corporate finance and investment banking roles with Coopers & Lybrand, Alex. Brown & Sons, and Robertson Stephens, in addition to entrepreneurial endeavors with Strategic Capital Resources, Revbox, and The Endeavor Initiative in Uruguay. Jonathan also spent time cycling across the United States, coaching the Harvard squash team, and living in Cuernavaca and Durango, Mexico.

Mathias Machado T’09, Associate Director
Industries: Technology, Industrial Goods, Entrepreneurship

Mathias brings a unique global perspective to Tuck's Career Development Office–having lived in both Germany and Argentina--and worked with the Volkswagen Group, Siemens, Booz & Co. (now Strategy&), and TomTom before Tuck, specializing in B2B sales in IT services and telecom. He worked as a product manager in tech post-MBA, before returning to Tuck as an associate director in the CDO. Mathias lives in Lebanon with his wife Melanie and his German Shorthaired Pointer and will be playing Tripod Hockey again this year, trying to keep his balance on the ice.


Elizabeth Zaldastani Napier T’91, Associate Director
Industries: Consumer Goods, Education, Government, Nonprofit

Lizzie is a marketing strategy expert and social entrepreneur. Post-Tuck, she led the development and launch of several new products for General Mills and Welch’s and directed $5-60 million campaigns with Saatchi & Saatchi, DDB, and Arnold Worldwide. She went on to lead a variety of organizations to aid the nation of Georgia in its transition to democracy and a free-market economy. Lizzie serves on the leadership committee at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital, is a member of the Financial Times Global Board Ready Women’s group, and is a trustee for the American Academy in Tbilisi. She is an avid squash player. She lives in Hanover with her husband Jim T’91, children J.C. and Elizabeth, and dog Horace.

Deirdre O’Donnell, Associate Director
Industries: Finance, Insurance, Investment Management, Private Equity

Deirdre joined Tuck's Career Development Office in 2008 after a 24-year career at Lehman Brothers in their fixed income division. While at Lehman, Deirdre also took an active role in recruiting as head of Lehman's core recruiting team for sales and trading and ultimately became global head of diversity recruiting for the firm. She joined the Tuck CDO as an associate director, focusing on the financial services industry. Deirdre and her family live on an organic farm in Orford, N.H.

Stephen Pidgeon T’07, Associate Director
Industries: Consulting, Health Care, Media and Entertainment, Sports

Before joining the Career Development Office in 2010, Stephen was an engagement manager at McKinsey in London, where he focused on health care consulting, with a functional specialty in org work. Prior to Tuck he worked for 11 years in television and film, directing and producing a number of television series and a movie. He is the author of the bestselling books "How to Get a Job in Consulting" and "Case Interviews for Beginners." He lives in Norwich with his wife and two daughters.

Nanette Thelemaque, Office & Multimedia Manager

Nanette Thelemaque joined the CDO in 2004. After attending Mercy College in Dobbs Ferry, N.Y. majoring in psychology, Nanette moved in many career paths from a group home supervisor, to running her own cleaning service business, to strategic alliance and channel manager in the high-tech industry, to marketing specialist in the publishing industry.

Sarah Bell Van Orman, Assistant Director, Business Development

Sarah Bell Van Orman joined Tuck in 2005 and is focused on new business development efforts, including encouraging new companies to recruit Tuck students. Sarah received a BS from Virginia Tech and M.Ed. and Ed.S. in mental health counseling from the University of Virginia. Prior to joining Tuck, she held a career development associate position at the Darden School of Business at the University of Virginia.

Lori Lorigo PhD, Information Specialist

Lori studied computer science and operations research as an undergraduate at Cornell University and was the first to earn a Ph.D. in information science from Cornell in 2006. Lori’s professional work experience includes serving as a visiting researcher for Cornell, funded by Google, working as a programmer/analyst in Cornell’s Computer Science Department, and interning as a software engineer at Hewlett-Packard. Lori has published a book chapter, seven journal papers, and numerous conference proceedings and white papers. She is currently on sabbatical in Italy.

Dena Peyster TP'16, Alumni Career Services Manager

Dena received her BA in economics from Connecticut College before moving to Washington, D.C. After working for three years in consulting and marketing, she enrolled in the MBA program at George Washington University, and graduated in May, 2014. A native of Mendham, N.J., she enjoys running, hiking, spending time with family, and the Connecticut shoreline.


Valeria Wiens, Recruiting Manager

Valeria received a bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College in 2013 as a double major in government and sociology and has taken over the CDO's recruiting coordinator position.  While at Dartmouth, Valeria was the administrative director for Hansi Wiens Squash Camps and for five years she ran the Fall Foliage Junior Tournament. She lives in Hanover with her husband, daughter, and baby son.
