We got our first real snowfall last night-- light flurries overnight that accumulated to just an inch or two of snow. Ok, perhaps not that impressive, but it was just enough to cover everything with a light blanket of white and make everything look very pretty. The children at my son's school were playing outside during the noon pick-up time and, having never lived someplace with snow before, it was pretty exciting to watch him frolick in even that small amount of snow. He and a friend used plastic scoops to "plow" imaginary roads, then made snow angels, and rolled down the small snow-covered hill in the play yard. He was really excited to finally play in the snow he's been waiting months for! We'll see when we get our first big snow dump, but I think this has been a nice introduction.
