“Tuck allowed me to refine my technical expertise, acquire new managerial skills, and build a strong and expansive network in my new industry.”
I wanted a place where I would receive a well-rounded education, have intimate access to top professors, and build a great network. Tuck has exceeded my expectations in all of these areas. Professors take pride in teaching, relating to students, and creating an environment in which you are excited and motivated to learn. Alumni and classmates were unbelievably helpful with my career search. Having access to the wealth of knowledge and experience in the Tuck network was a major differentiator for me.
My favorite aspect of the Tuck experience has been learning from my classmates. Not only are their experiences and accomplishments impressive, but they are also sincerely interested in helping you achieve your goals. Some of my closest friends at Tuck are from outside the United States, and through activities like small group dinners and spring break trips I have been able to experience their culture firsthand.
Tuck has allowed me to refine my technical expertise, acquire new managerial skills, and build a strong and expansive network in my new industry, working for a global technology company. Outside of the classroom, interactions with my classmates and alumni helped me to turn my interest into a new career.
Embrace everything that Tuck has to offer. Whether it’s hockey, learning expeditions with professors, or 10-person seminars, stepping out of your comfort zone will allow you to make the most out of your time at Tuck. My greatest learning and personal experiences have come from times where I did something new and challenging and got comfortable with not being the best at something.
