Tuck community members speak to the role of business in addressing some of the world's greatest challenges—and the kind of leaders needed to rise to the occasion.
At Tuck Investiture 2015, Carlos Rodriguez-Pastor T’88, chairman and CEO of Interbank in Peru, and co-founder of Innova Schools, challenged Tuck’s newest class by asking them, “Will you follow everybody else, or go your own way? Will you welcome adversity and challenge? Will you measure your success by your ability to change your world? If your answer is yes, nothing but true lasting success awaits you.”
Tuck has long provided its graduates with the knowledge and inspiration to do well and do good—to become the difference in the world of business and beyond. As the global economy continues to become more dynamic and diverse, the call for broad, values-driven leadership will continue to grow louder.
What will not change, however, are the beliefs that sustain it: in reaching beyond oneself in a supportive community, and in connecting talented students with leading scholars to enable learning of the highest quality.
