Getting Ready for the Start of Fall Term

September 1, 2022

Dear T’23s,

We’re emailing to remind you of some important COVID-related policies and also to share updates to some of those policies that reflect the start of fall term classes on Tuesday.

  1. All students must complete a take-home rapid antigen test before attending their first in-person class, event, or gathering of the term. We encourage all community members—including T’23s—to establish a regular, personal testing practice and to use a mask when in large groups indoors or close quarter situations. Take-home rapid antigen tests and face masks (including KN95s) are available at Tuck at locations including AMOS, the Conway Foyer, and the table outside of Tuck Hall Room 114.
  2. If you test positive for COVID, please notify dicks.house.nurse@dartmouth.edu and check the absence policies of your elective courses for further notification steps. Please CC tuck.covid.compliance@tuck.dartmouth.edu on your email to Dick’s House to allow us to track case counts here at Tuck.
  3. As we noted in our community announcement on 7/28, those who test positive for COVID will be able to access class session recordings if available. You can find a list of fall term electives that will not be recording sessions here.  Any recordings shared with you will be found by logging in to Panopto and clicking on the “Shared with Me” link in the left-side navigation pane.  Please review any recordings as soon as you are able to ensure you’re keeping up with your courses.

We wish you a relaxing Labor Day weekend. Please reach out if you have any questions.

Regards,
Joe & Sally
