Tuck Assistant Professor of Business Administration Ing-Haw Cheng has received a Distinguished Referee Award from The Review of Financial Studies, a peer-reviewed academic journal published on behalf of the Society for Financial Studies.

The award recognizes his excellence in reviewing several recent research papers that present findings in fields in which Cheng, a finance professor, conducts research, including commodity and housing markets, corporate finance, and the financial system.

Cheng, who teaches the “Futures and Options Markets” elective course at Tuck, has served as a referee for nearly two dozen academic journals focused on finance and economics.

“Reviewing papers is an important and valuable service that all of us provide to the research and scholarship process,” he says, “and I am honored that journal editors value my opinions.”
